CME has just launched the new MDP Market Data Statistics Webpage on our website to offer you a look into some of the key market data statistics to our distributors.  Over the past couple of months we have gathered distributor feedback and determined some of the most critical statistics for distributors to utilize in future capacity planning.

Specifically, we focused on average bandwidth, peak bandwidth, average message rate and peak message rate in 4 different areas, each of which can be viewed per day, per month or per quarter:

                1.   Individual Channel

                2.   Combined all ITC (Ch. 3-6)

                3.   Combined all RLC (Ch. 7-20)

                4.   Combined all Channels (Ch. 3-20)

Please note the following limitation with this initial implementation:

• The starting point for data will be the first trade date of September.  This means that we will only have information on a daily basis for now. We expect the data to include the end of month report for September in the very near future.  As we progress forward, our database will continue to be populated until we have sufficient information to view on a prior quarterly basis as well.
